Tetra WebBBS version 6.13 is now available for download.

As always there are a couple of new features and changes which will improve your forums. Furthermore some optimizations under the hood are not visible to neither admins nor public users but are worth upgrading, even if you don't want to enable new features on your own site.
Details are listed in a release notes for Tetra WebBBS 6.13.
However, there are two topics which I'ld like to point out in this announcement:

(1) Avatars
Profile images may now optionally serve as avatars on single or "flat" guestbook style message display pages. For details please read DisplayAvatar on variables board.

(2) Embedding Tetra WebBBS into password protected folders  is improved.
This enables webmasters to nicely integrate Tetra WebBBS forums into sections of their website which are password protected, for example by membership software. For more information on this topic please read the new article on Tetra-WebBBS and .htaccess password protection.
