Tetra WebBBS version 6.10 is now available for download.
It's coming with a bunch of improvements, changes and a couple of new features - all worth upgrading.
However, there are two topics which I'ld like to point out in this announcement:

(1) Cookie lifetime
Expiration date of Tetra-WebBBS cookies is now set to 2020.
All prior version set cookie expiration to the end of 2010. Thus cookie support of older versions will stop on New Years Day 2011. To keep cookie support working on the forums everybody should upgrade to Tetra-WebBBS 6.10 as soon as possible. 14 months left .

(2) Tetra-WebBBS now requires registration
Starting with version 6.10 registration is required according to the revised TetraBB license agreement.
Usage of Tetra-WebBBS remains free of charge and as always things are kept pretty simple. Just download and install Tetra-WebBBS. Admin scripts will guide you through the registration procedure if necessary. Of course all details are available online, please read the registration page if you want to learn more.
