Tetra WebBBS 6.00 Beta 2 is now available.
Since we released the first Beta of Tetra WebBBS version 6.00 a few bugs have been reported and fixed. Nothing serious, but worth a second Beta.
Furthermore a few things have been changed in order to allow for an integration of a WYSIWYG editor in the final release. - More on this topic to be found on Discussion/Support Board.

When to expect the final release for Tetra WebBBS 6.00?
Well .....
I won't release the final without having completed the docs. Since release of the first Beta I had no time at all to work on the docs. So probably it will take until somewhen 2nd quarter this year. I'll do my best to release in April, but can't say more. - Anyway, the code is running fine on all sites where I'm involved so it is stable for production. Use the current Beta 2 if you're familiar to the scripts or want to upgrade an older implementation.

Recommendation for updates/upgrades is fairly simple:

Updates from Tetra WebBBS 6.00 Beta
Replace everything in the /lib folder except webbbs_settings.pl, webbbs_custom.pl and smtp_settings.pl.
Replace the file 'webbbs.css' which is in folder /public_html/webbbs/css
Done!

Upgraders from Tetra WebBBS 5.2x/5.3x
or from  WebBBS 5.1x or older versions should start reading here.
