Tetra WebBBS 6.00 Beta available for download
Next generation WebBBS forum software is released as a Beta. Check the new Tetra WebBBS 6.00 section on the download page for WebBBS core scripts and v6.00 compatible, rewritten plugins.

Tetra WebBBS 6.00 comes with a lot of changes esp. on admin side and under the hood. New email based notification features available to users. Improved access control, filtering technique and forum maintenance makes the live easier for admins.

Tetra WebBBS 6.00 is released as a Beta, and it will stay a Beta for approx. 3 months.
The new version is already running live on various sites. Therefore I believe it to be stable for production use. But, as always with major new versions, WebBBS 6.00 must still be watched closely by site maintainers. Thus recommendation is to use it only for production forums if you're familiar with the software and know how to set it up.
Another reason for it to be considered a Beta is the lack of a complete documentation. All new variables are added to variables board for easy lookup and a brief release guide is available for Tetra WebBBS v6. The main documentation though is not updated yet and a few chapters must be added. The final won't be released unless the docs are done. Unfortunately writing docs is always time consuming. So don't expect me to do right now before X-mas ;)
