Why do we call it beta?
Although it's been used by the team for its forum for quite a while, it hasn't been field tested. So, please install it as a test first (back up your old version) so that you can fall back if necessary.

So, what is new?
Main Changes:

• Efficiency and memory saving tweaks. Benchmarks we've done on the code for Message Index have shown a 30 - 40% improvement in performance.
  
• 5.20 produces "clean" html which complies to W3C standards.
  Why bother with this?
  
  • The forum pages are displayed in a more consistent manner over different browsers. This means, your forum will be available to a broader audience.
    
  • Search engines like clean and correct html.
    
  
  
• You have more control over styling. You can create your own style sheet to define the look for YOUR forum, without having to change the Perl code.
  
• Known bugs have been fixed.
