I think this is a good idea.

fix the basic problems, use strict, take out the old font, etc. codes, get clean html, and provide a basic CSS style sheet as a way of introducing style sheets to individualize the basic look of the website.

maybe add the archive by threads as this seems to be something a lot of people requested and it is just a new archiving script.
