Tetra-WebBBS Support Forum
A former admin (retired duties aprox 8 yrs ago) of a Tetra-WebBBS, I have been called back into interim service because the kind individual who took over my duties recently passed away. I am faced with the difficult task of finding someone to take over my admin duties (and ownership) or putting the forum down. I have tried reading through the online documents (we have Tetra-WebBBS 6.11 installed), but still have a few questions -
1. It appears that there is no admin hierarchy. IOW, there is no order of admin privileges, right? If one has the admin password, one has access to all admin functions, right?
My hope was that I could offer limited rights to a volunteer until it was determined that she is suited to the task. Is this possible without resorting to changing anything in the scripts?
2. What actually happens if I click the "Lock forums" link? Will this completely bar the public from seeing/reading posts or just from posting?
