I deleted all the code in site.css except for the changes and it's the same result.

I'm using IE 9, and my wife uses an iPad and whatever version of Safari is on there and we both have the same purple.

I noticed something interesting though. The changes I make for the visited links does show up at the top of the message board where the links are for "search", "my profile", etc. Just not in the messages themselves. Odd.
