/bbs_marksesl seems to be the data_basedir folder. Read:

individual forums datafolder is then defined by data_subdir. Read:
http://tetrabb.com/documentation/WebBBS/BasicConfigs.pl?page=1;md=read;id=28

All configs for the forums are found in a file called pro_settings.pl, which is a configuration file.
