Thanks for the pointers to possible typos in the language file. Made a note on my ToDo list and will look 'em up asap.

You're right, some texts are hard code inside the scripts. That's mostly intentional for various reasons. E.g.:
The license clearly states the credit section "must not" be changed. "Must not" includes altering the corresponding code/text. That's intentional of course.
Some texts which are hard-coded won't ever show, unless illegal requests are made to the forums, for instance in an attempt to hack the server. Such texts don't require translation.

.... and of course there are a couple of places where I may have forgotten to transfer texts from developmental state to the language file - those should be fixed of course.

.... and there are a couple of texts IN the language file which are not (yet) used at all, or used by components not shipped with the default download package.
