Running non-English forums myself and I'm not aware of such an issue, so I'ld have to take a look at how the exact setup is on your forum.

You could consider to set up a profile here. Registered users bypass the content filters, which. Maybe your profile question was ignored due to strict filters to prevent unwanted bots from posting. As a registered user this should not happen.
