No, if AutoQuote is ON the HTML mapping used for FormatCode is supposed to revert stuff back to formatting tags. And it does here. .... should do on your site as well because I don't remember to have touched that section since we released the version you're running.

I've posted a testmessage on your board. On preview and message display all looks fine. Wanted to reply but AutoQuote is OFF for me (might be because I'm not registered).

Not sure why this is and why it's limited to two formatting options. Are you sure there isn't a second definition of FormatCode, e.g. in the sub for registered users???

There must be reason why it's not working as expected.

Must admit all that formatting code is horrible complicated. Lots of settings interfering, lots of cases to consider.
