Indeed a documentation always can be improved and whatever one does, it's always missing just the bit someone is looking for.

On the other hand it seems overall the current documentation is working somehow. Only very low number of questions here on support board in relation to the sites I've seen upgrading in the past.

Furthermore I believe response time here on this board is acceptable. People get answers within a few hours. It's the nature of a discussion that sometimes a question isn't fully understood and thus the answer not as accurate as it could be. My apology for not understanding the focussed question in your prior post.

Somewhen in the past we had to cleanup the navigation and make some changes. I admit one must get used to the new logic of navigation. True. But the navigation and the admin portal thing are not really new any more. This major change was introduced 2 years (or 4 versions) ago.

I'm pretty sure you'll get used to the logic of the navigation and other things very soon.
Upgrading an 8 year old software and jumping 11 versions ahead without any major problems isn't too bad. (Sorry, not finding a link isn't a major problem iMHO.)

During almost 5 years of development with 11 official releases of the core software a heck of a lot of things are changed or new, some outdated stuff even removed. Thus I'm afraid one can't really expect the current version to work exactly like the old did.

This may not be the answer you expected, only I can't do more than coding, writing docs as is and trying to respond here on this board in a timely manner.

Anyway. I hope you'll enjoy the new version.
