Hi Cindy.

There are a lot of features to help keep of unwanted posts.

You should take a closer look at the new settings.pl file, it's sections and you should lookup variables which are new to you.

The rule of thumb is:
Hide your forms. Setup intelligent filtering. Allow registered users to bypass the filter. NEVER reject posts with ANY comment stating someone is banned. Our friends are not stupid, they will adopt their behaviour. Instead catch in moderated bin and delete, or use the other features.

Unfortunately you'll have to find out yourself. It is possible to run an open forum (without registration). But it makes no sense to publich any detailed recipes because it would quickly help our friends as well, which we don't want to.

Lookup variables step by step. Think about them. Then you'll find a solution.
