Another one for the audience ......

.... never advise anybody to delete his cookies! Never, unless you're sure the other one knows what he's doing.

Why?

Well, these great security tools in modern browsers very often default to a setting which blocks new cookies from a domain if the user deleted the cookie manually, unless he explicitely told the browser to (re-)accept the cookie.
One must be very optimistic a user ever pays attention to this minor but important detail.

Furthermore there is rarely any need to delete a cookie, unless one doesn't want it any more. Cookies get updated all the time, so there is no point of deleting a cookie. .... with the exception of rare cases. But this is so rare that you better never recommend such deletion to a broader audience. If you do, you'll end up with more problems than you ever had before.

All this of course isn't specific to this software but a more a general rule of thumb ;)
