There is VERY good reason why it's prepared this way and why we've taken the effort to write the docs in detail.

Upgrades are pretty easy if you follow the docs. If you don't, then you'll probably have a hard time on the next upgrade.

Sorry John, but your advice misleads folks into the wrong direction. You may of course modify whatever you like for your own site. However, others SHOULD better follow the docs - esp. those not much familiar with the topic.
