If $HideAdminEmail is set to "0" the forums footer will contain a link to the administrator's email address.
If $HideAdminEmail is set to "1" the administrator's name will still be shown but the email address is not provided.

Enabling this feature will keep spiders from collecting admin's email from the forum!
If the admin's email address is hidden, most likely it's a good idea to set up whatever sort of contact forum on your page to support those visitors of your site wanting to get in contact with the forum administrator. Maybe enabling $AllowTroubleTicket only for registered users is a reasonable approach.
